It's the summer holiday season and SAVI is hear to prepare you for the beach, whether it's your hair, bikini or tan, the beach is your catwalk

So here's how to create our favourite 2012 summer styles...

SAVI's Top Tan Tips
SAVI is here to help you with your faux tan...

1. Make sure you moisturise daily after your shower...tan goes patchy on dry skin. Focus on the ankles, knees and elbows just before you fake tan, and make sure it has soaked in first.

Savi loves Nivea Crème

2. Exfoliate before applying tan to remove excess dead skin and prevent patches.

Savi loves Sanctuary Body Scrub

3. Apply petroleum jelly (vaseline) on the eyebrows and along the hair line to prevent these areas going orange when applying tan to your face.

4. Use a buffing mitt after applying the lotion to remove a build up of tan and prevent patchiness.

Savi loves Fake Bake’s buffing mitt

5. Always use gloves to prevent the secret spiller of orange hands. Take them off at the end and use cotton buds to tan the back of your hands. Latex gloves are cheap and easy to find at your local supermarket or drugstore.

6. Wear loose, dark clothes straight after your tan to make sure it remains even and doesn’t stain your best white dress!

7. When shaving your fake tanned legs, use a layer of conditioner instead of soap or shaving cream. This will prevent the tan from coming off with the razor.

Savi loves Fake Bake Beyond Bronze & Fake Bake 60 minute self tan, voted number 1 by Marie Claire

Beach Hair
Jennifer Aniston, on holiday in Italy this week, has a simple knot bun. This is great for thin or short hair and keeps it our of the way whilst sunbathing.

Whilst not on the beach, Cheryl Cole's fish plait would be great for anyone with long, thick hair.

For a messier look, tease the edges of the plait and pull out some fly away strands at the front.

Shenae Grimes, Annie from 90210, shows off a perfectly messy top knot - great in the hot weather for keeping hair off your shoulders and neck, or if you want to avoid getting it wet in the sea.

Beach Waves

To create the perfect natural - looking 'Taylor Swift Beach Waves', french plait your hair the night before and take it out in the morning.

TIP: For better results, wet hair before plaiting and refrain from brushing in the morning.

For loose curls, like Jennifer Aniston, plait loosly. For tighter ringlets ensure your french plait is tight.

Odd One Out

When it comes to your nails, being the odd one out is a good thing.  SAVI has noticed the recent trend of having one nail different from the rest, usually the ring finger, but not always, as Kelly Rowland shows us her black and white chequered pinkie nail...

Not to be outdone her soul sister Beyonce also shows us her odd one out nails

Kelly's former girl from the UK X Factor Misha B mixes it up by having one nail extension, we're not too sure about this at SAVI but she manages to pull it off

Vanessa Hudgens is a fan of the new nails matching an ice cold blue with a glittering gold

Not to be outdone by all the singing stars Serena Williams shows us how a sports lady does it. Serena has added a few jewels to her ring finger to make it stand out

As always we like to show you a few of our own creations

1. No 7 'Cheeky Chops' with Topshop 'Gypsy Night'

2. No7 'Tango 220' with Topshop's nail art 3 in 1 glitter tool (There are 5 orange jewels lining the edge of the nail, which are hard to see with through a picture due to lighting)

3. Topshop's 'World's End' with GOSH's nail glitter '10 blue sapphire'

If you try any of our designs or some of your own tweet them to @saviHQ we'd love to hear from you or you can email us at savihq@gmail.com

Gothic Fashion

Autumn 2012 will be all about the Gothic jewellery, and we have already started to see the religious jewellery pop up on the celebs and all over the shops, so Savi is here to show you how to work the look and where to buy next season's must haves.

Caggie Dunlop's new fashion line It Starts With An Idea (ISWAI) features some of the hottest gothic jewellery products and tees that you just have to get your hands on!

But Savi has found you some amazing products at 5 of our favourite shops, so you can get buying asap...

These Misguided jumpers are gorgeous and just £10 each.

TIP: Try not to wear too much of the Gothic theme with one outfit. As shown by Kim K and Caggie, a simple accessory can be great to complete a plain outfit and stay in fashion.

Nails

As usual, it's not just the clothes you can keep on trend...Savi has created the perfect nails for you to try out, perfect in any colour, simple and quick to do.

Please send us your thoughts, pics & suggestions @SaviHQ

Wimbledon

Wimbledon is in full swing and we’re getting very excited...by the fashions! With Ralph Lauren uniforms, Wimbledon can’t be anything but inspiring – both on and off court.

But the style hasn't always been the same...

Lilian Watson 1884

May Sutton Bundy caused an uproar in 1905 by rolling back her sleeves

Suzanne Lenglen, 1926
"All women players should go on their knees in thankfulness to Suzanne for delivering them from the tyranny of corsets."

Update the vintage look with this season’s dip hem pleated midi, £27.99 from Glamourous
To keep the style an all-white classic, team it with a simple white tee, like Warehouse’s Woven Insert Tee (£38)
Finish it off with a brown pleated belt (this one’s from French Connection), and a classic Hermès scarf.
Wedges help to create the perfect daytime attire, and platforms work well for the.
Heels £65 Kurt Geiger

Helen Wills 1933

Twist this 1930s tennis attire into a glamorous summer look with a Malene Birger lace skirt (£101)
And add some colour to the sleeveless shirt with one of these chiffon designs
Plain coral (£15 New Look)
Patterned (£15 Lipsy)
Complete with a statement piece of jewellery like this asos bangle (£28)
And some killer heels, these ones are also from asos (£35)

Alice Marble 1936

Alice Marble shocked the spectators by wearing shorts at Wimbledon, but now girls can’t get enough of them. We love these Zero + Maria Cornejo high waisted shorts from The Outnet (£55)
Wear with a Ralph Lauren Polo and team with flip flops for a chilled out day or trainers for a trip to the tennis club

Gertrude Moran (aka Gorgeous Gussie) was the first tennis player to wear a skirt showing her pants in 1946

Maria Sharapova divided opinions in 2008 with her tuxedo style tennis top

Venus Williams 2010

Bethanie Mattek-Sands 2011

Venus Williams, 2011

It may not have been loved on court, but these white playsuits are the perfect item for a sunny day...

Petra Kvitova & Novak Djokovic

Djokovic and girlfriend Jelena Ristic

Create this look of neutral colour blocking with this gorgeous Bastyan dress

But we cannot forget the spectators of 2012 who, despite the bad weather, have showcased some beautiful summer outfits.

Pippa Middleton looked beautiful in her £132 Orla Keily Jacket, carrying a £1,560 handbag available at Ermanno Scervino and her Givenchy sunglasses (£159)

Create the look with these crop sleeved jackets this season from Zara
(prices range between £40 and £50)

Savi has a new style crush, and it's on the gorgeous Kim Sears; girlfriend of Britain's Andy Murray, she has turned up to every match looking fabulous!

Savi loves Kim's black print dress, £135 from Whistles.

Opting for a more casual look, Kim chose jeans and a t-shirt for her next day at Wimbledon

Every girl needs a pair of navy jeans, and having tried and tested many, Dorothy Perkins have come up as Savi’s favourite affordable skinnies at just £28
Another essential item is the white t-shirt. Kim has gone for a baggier version which looks great with the skin tight trousers. Savi loves this topshop tee with a cut out back...
To keep the look simple but elegant, try this classic grey cardigan from La Redoute
Savi’s not a great fan of the orange leopard print, but loves this Lara Bohinic alternative
Complete with the perfect pair of moccasins from Dune

Kim’s used this sophisticated yellow Zara blazer with a beautiful green dress for the perfect colour blocking

We also love this lace lined blazer from House of Fraser
We love this Mango emerald green sleeveless dress, great for a daytime or evening look
And it’s hard not to notice the £1,750 Louis Vuitton watch that accompanies the outfit. For a more affordable but good quality version, check out this one from Guess (£150)
Once again, Kim carries the same brown bag – but Savi thinks it’s time for something different, so why not go for light grey for this summer?

Nails
Nails have featured in Wimbledon since the arrival of the Williams sisters, the most noticeable being Serena's diamante extensions in 2010.

Here's how Savi created the perfect Wimbledon nails

Savi would love to see pictures of your fashion at Wimbledon or your Wimbledon nails, so tweet us @SaviHQ or send us an email (savihq@gmail.com)...all suggestions are welcome!
