Old School

Old School Game Pac-Man Nails

How to:

1. Apply a basecoat - SAVI used Revlon's base coat.

2. Paint both thumb nails black. SAVI used Rimmel london.

3. Paint the rest of your nails with your 4 chosen colours, Savi used No7 Tangy 220, Barry M lilac, Topshop World's end, and Barry M Raspberry.

4. To create the faces do two white spots for the eyes. SAVI used No7 white nail tip. Then using Model's own black nail pen do two eyes in the white spots. Using the brush do 3 black triangles along the bottom of the nail.

5. For the Pac-man SAVI used Topshop's bee's knees outline the triangle of the mouth and then using the brush with minimal paint on it outline a semi circle. Fill in the pac -man shape.

6. Using the black pen draw on an eye.

 Beyoncé

And you can get your hands on tribal prints, too…

As always, SAVI is here to show you how to extend the trend to your finger tips with these stunning tribal nails…

And a variety of colours...

SAVI used these
Essie Trophy Wife

Barry M Lilac

 Topshop World End

Topshop Bees Knees

How To

Apply your base coats (SAVI used Revlon and no.7), then paint the nails white

Add colour to areas of your choice - using as many colours as you want on each nail.
TIP: For the best effect, use clashing colours.

Then, using your nail art pens, add the designs you want.

TIP: To make it easier, why not create the designs on false nails and glue them on, to ensure they are neat and your nails look their best!

Bright Colours & Bold Patterns

When Savi headed to Africa for a party, the souks of Marrakesh inspired us and we now have a thing for bright colours & beautiful patterns. Let us share...

Mary Katrantzou
Spring/Summer 2012

Essie has the perfect range to help you create beautifully bright nails all year round. Savi loves...
'Lights'
'Camera'
'Action'

'Funky Limelight'

'Perky Purple'

Here's some Savi created, using Channel's 'Orange Fizz' and nail art stickers and jewels, available online and at many beauty stores.

These ones were created with Channel's 'Ballerina'

Savi loves this henna and can't wait to get our hands on some henna paste to create our own.

To add a touch of brightness to your face, why not try some bright pink lipstick?

 Kim Kardashian
Natalie Portman

Savi Loves...

And don't think that bright colours and bold patterns are just for the Summer season. As Michelle Trachtenberg shows us, a statement scarf can be perfect in the cold.

Let us know how you get on with your bright colours and, if you like what you see, give us a follow @SaviHQ

Caviar Nails

SAVI has become very excited at the new caviar nail polishes.

We tried Ciaté's black as an 'odd one out' nail design, but for a special occasion you could try doing all your nails. Suggestions and instructions are included within the kit.

1. Paint your nails with a base coat SAVI used Revlon quick dry base coat

2. Paint your nails the under colour, we used black but ciaté has two other collections

3. Once dry ,paint on a second coat and whilst nails are wet pour on the pearls, use the tray they come in to collect the pearls that fall off.

4. Lightly press the pearls down to ensure they have stuck

4. SAVI then used Revlon Liquid Quick dry topcoat to ensure that the pearls lasted

SAVI brought their kit from Sephora in France for €20 or you cn buy them online at www.ciate.co.uk or in Selfridges for £18
